“Chaconne in ‘K’ Existence” is a modern ballet in one act and six scenes, created by Armenian choreographer Rima Pipoyan during the ContextAir Plovdiv residency program. Featuring an original score by composer Sergey Umroyan and an international cast of dancers, the work draws inspiration from the historical form of the chaconne to reflect on universal existence, continuity, and the eternal struggle for survival. Rooted in the rich cultural layers of Plovdiv, the performance transforms impressions of the city into movement—intertwining history, memory, and human resilience in a journey toward harmony and freedom
