Founded in 2014, Moving Cities is a growing collection of short films by London-based director Jevan Chowdhury, placing dancers into the pulse of real urban landscapes across the globe. Moving Yerevan offers an emotive dialogue between Armenia’s ancient capital and 47 of its finest dancers, filmed against the rhythms of daily life. Shot over three days and nights, the 7-minute film merges city, movement, and history into one poetic vision. Yerevan, a metropolis with millennia of continuous life, becomes both stage and partner, where dance transforms everyday spaces into timeless expressions of identity and resilience.
